As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, running from Monday 1 June to Sunday 7 June, we would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has volunteered with us in the Grounds team over the past few years. Volunteers have supported with a wide range of tasks, including weeding, clearing beds and overgrown shrubs, planting trees, plants and bulbs, and propagating plants for students and research.

Volunteers have worked with us across the grounds, from Birks to the vegetable garden at the top of the Streatham Campus, and have made a positive impact wherever they have been involved.
Thank you to all those who have volunteered for the GIVE, Veg Heads, and individual team group sessions in Lower Hoopern Valley—we truly appreciate and value your support.
We would love to welcome even more volunteers to get involved with our GIVE and Veg Heads sessions. It’s a great opportunity to support the grounds, learn new skills, and meet like-minded people in a friendly and rewarding environment.
