The University of Exeter Grounds Team is inviting students and staff to take part in GIVE (Garden Involvement Volunteers Event), a monthly volunteering initiative that helps maintain and enhance the beautiful landscapes across Streatham Campus.
Working alongside the University’s horticultural team, volunteers have the opportunity to learn practical gardening skills, contribute to biodiversity projects, and play an active role in caring for the campus environment.
The next GIVE session will take place on 15 October, and everyone is welcome to join, regardless of previous experience.
GIVE provides a fantastic opportunity to:
- Support sustainability and biodiversity initiatives on campus
- Learn from experienced horticultural professionals
- Meet new people from across the University community
- Enjoy the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors
- Make a positive and visible contribution to campus green spaces
No gardening experience is required, and all tools, equipment, and training are provided. Volunteers simply need to wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
