{"id":1567,"date":"2017-09-25T11:06:26","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T10:06:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.exeter.ac.uk\/buddingnews\/?p=1567"},"modified":"2017-09-25T11:06:26","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T10:06:26","slug":"the-amazing-benefits-of-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/buddingnews\/2017\/09\/25\/the-amazing-benefits-of-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"The Amazing Benefits of Trees!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Exeter Streatham and St Luke&#8217;s Campuses, fields and woodland areas contain over 10,000 mature trees managed by the Grounds Team and we are keen to show the amazing benefits of these magnificent trees.<\/p>\n<p>We recently undertook an i-tree survey of our trees which converts measurements such as tree height, girth and canopy spread into an economic value of the natural benefits they provide.
