Our Horticulture and Operations Manager, Anthony Cockell, was honoured to guide a tour for the Gardeners\u2019 Question Time panel on our Streatham Campus on Wednesday 19th June. During the tour they explored the diverse horticultural spaces on our grounds which are free and accessible to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a great pleasure for Anthony to meet presenter Kathy Clugston and fellow horticultural experts Chris Beardshaw, Christine Walkden and Bob Flowerdew who are all incredibly knowledgeable and inspiring individuals. During the tour they addressed listener questions for the Gardeners\u2019 Question Time Postbag show which will be broadcast on Friday 23rd August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting the value of botanic gardens is a heartfelt passion of Anthony\u2019s and he is proud that we provide a place of beauty, tranquility and mindfulness for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two episodes of Gardeners\u2019 Question Time, Radio 4\u2019s long running radio show, were recorded at St David\u2019s church on Tuesday 18th June. The live audience asked many interesting questions which were brilliantly answered by the panel. It was also great to hear about the\u00a0@ymcaexeter<\/a>\u00a0garden and how gardening can help people in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
