The data will promptly be deleted after the issuance of the invitation letter for visa purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>First name according to passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last name according to passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nationality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport issue date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport expiry date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place of Work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Job title<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applying for a Visitor visa in advance of travelling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are from one of the countries on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/immigration-rules\/immigration-rules-appendix-visitor-visa-national-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visa National list<\/a>, you are considered a &#8216;visa national&#8217;. You must apply for and be granted your Visitor visa before you travel to the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are <strong>not<\/strong> from one of the countries on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/immigration-rules\/immigration-rules-appendix-visitor-visa-national-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visa National list<\/a>, you are considered a &#8216;non-visa national&#8217; and this means you can enter the UK as a visitor without applying for a visa in advance of travelling (see section below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The earliest you can apply is 3 months before you travel. You start by submitting your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/standard-visitor\/apply-standard-visitor-visa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">application form<\/a>&nbsp;online (except in North Korea) and paying an application fee of \u00a3127. There are additional fees for fast track services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your application form has been submitted, you will usually need to attend an appointment at a UK Visa Application Centre to submit your original documents and enrol your biometric information. It will then take about three weeks for your visa application to be processed, depending on where you are applying. For current processing times please see the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/visa-processing-times\">Home Office website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entering as a Visitor on arrival (non-visa nationals only)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This option is only available to \u2018non-visa nationals\u2019 whose nationalities are&nbsp;<strong>not&nbsp;<\/strong>listed on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/immigration-rules\/immigration-rules-appendix-visitor-visa-national-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">visa nationals list<\/a>. This includes&nbsp;EU\/EEA and Swiss nationals who do not have a status under the EU Settlement Scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your nationality is on the visa nationals list, you must apply for and be granted your Visitor visa before you travel to the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a &#8216;non-visa national&#8217; you&nbsp;still need immigration permission to be in the UK and will be entering as a visitor when you pass through border control. You may be asked questions at the border about your eligibility and the activities you plan to do. You do not need to make any sort of visa application in advance. However, you may require an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta\">Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)<\/a> &#8211; see below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before you travel:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on your nationality and when you plan to travel, you may need to apply for an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta\">Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At the border (airport, ferry, train):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your nationality qualifies to enter via an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/coming-to-the-uk\/faster-travel-through-the-uk-border\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eGate<\/a>, you can join that queue and will not see an Immigration Officer to present your documents. You will automatically be classed as entering the UK as a Visitor.
