Sam Trethewey is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF) in Public Health. Alongside his academic work at the University of Exeter he works for local authority public health teams in a variety of capacities, covering both health improvement and health protection areas of work. Sam has spent his initial ACF time investigating factors associated with mental health-related support and service contact in children and young people recruited to the 2017 Mental Health of Children and Young People Survey.
