From launching new tools to enhance the student experience to driving digital transformation across the University, 2024 has been a year of progress, collaboration, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case you missed it, here\u2019s a snapshot of our biggest achievements from the past year, as captured in our <strong>2024 highlights video<\/strong> below!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transforming the Digital Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A major focus in 2024 has been enhancing the student and staff digital experience. Our work on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/departments\/digital\/productsandservices\/myexeter\/\">the MyExeter app<\/a> has continued to evolve, providing students with a more streamlined way to access key University services. The app has now been downloaded by <strong>23,700 students<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also continued improving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/departments\/digital\/productsandservices\/thedigitalhub\/\">Digital Hub support<\/a>, with our Ambassadors providing digital assistance to over 2,200 students and colleagues across our campuses. This hands-on support has helped the University community make the most of the University\u2019s digital tools, enhancing their learning, teaching and everyday campus life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Engaging Our Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Building stronger connections with students and colleagues has been a key priority this year. Our Digital Demo sessions have gone from strength to strength, with 600+ attendees joining in 2024 to learn about new developments and share their feedback. (University colleagues, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/departments\/digital\/news\/\">join our monthly Demo sessions for your chance to feed back<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also supported student-led initiatives, including an Instagram takeover by our Student Communications and Engagement Assistant and Digital Hub Ambassadors, who shared their experiences of working and studying at Exeter. Across the year, our student-led content has reached over 14,000 people, highlighting the importance of student voices in shaping digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key 2024 Highlights: Driving Innovation and Change<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovation has been at the heart of everything we do. In 2024, we have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Rolled out five updates to MyExeter, improving the student experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanded our data capabilities, growing a <a href=\"https:\/\/universityofexeteruk.sharepoint.com\/sites\/DataCommunity\">Data Community<\/a> of over 114 members. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Created 8 short films showcasing the impact of digital transformation at Exeter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shared our work on national and international stages, including four major conferences, such as Times Higher Education Digital Universities UK and US.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Ahead to 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As we move forward, we\u2019re excited to build on this momentum. In 2025, we\u2019ll continue working closely with students and staff to ensure digital transformation at Exeter is inclusive, impactful, and future-focused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our success this year\u2014your feedback, collaboration, and engagement drive everything we do.
