We conduct research to synthesise and disseminate research related to increasing participation of Early Career Researchers from underrepresented groups in STEM disciplines. Our first project focused on gender, social class and race\/ethnicity groups in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Sciences and Engineering. We have created a useful report<\/a> which provides an overview of the work in this area, outlining the differing explanations given for the lack of diversity, where the gaps are and recommendations for good practice\/future research.
