Get someone to choose the number of questions in the titles (5-6 in all) it should take at least 20 minutes to answer these questions fully.<\/p>\n<p>Try structuring your responses to interview questions using the STAR method<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>ituation \u2013 give context for your anecdote<\/li>\n<li><strong>T<\/strong>ask \u2013 explain what you were asked to do<\/li>\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>ctivity \u2013 describe what you did<\/li>\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>esult \u2013 explain how the situation played out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About you, your experience and background<\/h2>\n<h6>(Choose 2)<\/h6>\n<p>Why do you want to be a teacher?<br \/>\nTell me about yourself<br \/>\nHow will you manage challenges at work?<br \/>\nWhat experience do you have in schools?<br \/>\nHow would you establish a good relationship with pupils in your class?<br \/>\nWhat qualities do you have which would make you an effective teacher?<br \/>\nIf I walked into your classroom during an outstanding lesson, what would I see and hear?<br \/>\nTell us about a behaviour management strategy you have used to help engage an individual learner or group OR What behaviour management strategies do you tend to employ in the classroom?<br \/>\nHow would you handle [specific subject situation \/ misconception]?<br \/>\nWhat are your\u00a0interests or hobbies\u00a0outside of the classroom?<br \/>\nWhat\u00a0strengths do you have\u00a0that help your teaching career?<br \/>\nHow would you organize this classroom?<br \/>\nHow do you manage your teaching duties?<\/p>\n<h2>About Us<\/h2>\n<h6>(Choose 1 if you have a particular school in mind)<\/h6>\n<p>Why do you want to work in our school?<br \/>\nWhy do you want to teach at this particular level or this particular subject?<\/p>\n<h2>About Education<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(Choose 1<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p>What are the core skills and qualities that pupils look for in teachers?<br \/>\nWhat makes a good lesson?<br \/>\nWhat are some of the current issues in education?<br \/>\nHow do you ensure that you are accountable for pupils\u2019 attainment, progress and outcomes?<br \/>\nExplain your experience with a particular teaching strategy or technology (especially online teaching based questions)<\/p>\n<h2>Wider roles and responsibilies<\/h2>\n<p><strong>(Choose 1<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p>Safeguarding and equal opportunities.
