We are based at the Camborne School of Mines<\/a>, University of Exeter, Cornwall.<\/p>\n

Our research focusses on the behaviour of metals in the environment, particularly how metals interact with minerals and microbes.<\/p>\n

We study mine wastes and mine tailings to understand their environmental impact and develop remediation technologies.<\/p>\n

We investigate new ways of sustainable mining, including in situ<\/em> mining, bioprocessing and resource recovery from waste.<\/p>\n
