{"id":104,"date":"2020-03-10T11:11:49","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T10:11:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.exeter.ac.uk\/em3group\/?p=104"},"modified":"2020-03-10T11:11:49","modified_gmt":"2020-03-10T10:11:49","slug":"environment-and-sustainability-day-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/em3group\/2020\/03\/10\/environment-and-sustainability-day-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Environment and Sustainability Day 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Year 9 students from Penryn, Pool and Poltair Schools attended our Environment and Sustainability Day on the 5th February at the ESI at our Penryn Campus.<\/p>\n<p>They took part in a workshop that was jointly run by CSM and the English department focused on the Red River. The first part of the workshop involved a mineral quiz to identify local minerals that give cause the rivers red colour and also learnt about how acid mine drainage can be neutralised.
