22 February 2022Exeter Science Centre are running their first pop-up exhibition “Breaking the Ice” starting on 11 March at Maketank, Exeter and running for two long weekends. They need volunteers! The exhibition is centred around climate modelling – not only helping us to understand our own climate and how it is changing, but also the climates on other planets.
They’re looking for volunteers to be part of the delivery team at the event. There are many different volunteering roles and there’s no experience necessary, you don’t have to be an expert to take part! They are looking for people studying / working at any level in the sciences or arts, to be a friendly face in the exhibition and help it run smoothly. It’s a great opportunity to practice your communication skills and add some charity volunteer work to your CV. They will provide references / LinkedIn-friendly descriptions if you’d like them, along with reimbursement for travel and lunch for each day you volunteer.
