The site also provides wider opportunities for the public to get involved, with researchers keen to hear from those with an interest in marine issues, \u2018blue\u2019 tourism, or healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>In one example, members of the public are being encouraged to share their experiences of interventions which harness the benefits of interacting with the ocean, in the hope of inspiring similar initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-406\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/exetermarine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/203\/2018\/07\/Web-launch-promo-300x211.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/exetermarine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/203\/2018\/07\/Web-launch-promo-300x211.gif 300w, https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/exetermarine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/203\/2018\/07\/Web-launch-promo-768x539.gif 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project is led by a team from the University of Exeter\u2019s European Centre for Environment and Human Health, and has attracted \u20ac2 million in funding from the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 programme.
