There is a need for Senior Mentors across Professional Services to support the members of TIDE.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many benefits to becoming a Mentor for colleagues: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Improve your understanding of issues and barriers experienced by staff <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Motivate and support someone to fulfil their potential <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Share valuable knowledge based on your own experience <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Expectations  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    As part of your mentorship, you will discuss a variety of topics. Specific subjects will be determined based on what your Mentee is looking for, the types of subjects that will likely be covered are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Navigating a career in Higher Education <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Acting as a confidant: a personal and professional sounding board<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sharing your networks and professional contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Improving their knowledge and skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Supporting your Mentee to develop and maintain greater confidence and wellbeing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Providing improved performance and productivity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Helping them realise their full potential and progress their career <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Requirements <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      Both cohorts will have a ‘introduction’ meeting with their Mentor, otherwise known as a ‘chemistry’ meeting.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you are matched with a TIDE participant you will need to commit to meeting with them once per quarter<\/strong> for an hour from September 2025 to August 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
