The study is a research-practice partnership between the University of Exeter Medical School, the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE), the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster City Council and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Below are the members of our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Lorna Stabler, Research Associate, Cardiff University<\/strong><\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorna is the Chief Investigator on the SFGC study and is responsible for oversight of the project. She will lead the theory and implementation guide co-production work throughout the project. She is also the Patient and Public Involvement lead on the SFGC study. In this capacity, Lorna supports the active involvement of parents, carers and young people in all parts of the study. She also provides expertise in children’s social care research and the Research-in-Residence approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Bekkah Bernheim, Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Exeter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bekkah is the Postdoctoral Research Associate on the SFGC Study. She will be working as a Researcher-in-Residence in one of the case study sites. Bekkah is also involved in stakeholder engagement, data collection and analysis. She is also helping to organise the Expert Stakeholder Group and SFGC study website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alankrita Singh, Research Assistant, Cardiff University<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alankrita is the Research Assistant on the SFGC Study team. She will be working as Researcher-in-Residence at two of the case study sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Iain Lang, Senior Lecturer in Public Health, University of Exeter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iain is a Senior Lecturer and Implementation Science lead for the NIHR Peninsula Applied Research Collaboration (PenARC). He will oversee the implementation evaluation and provide expertise on the use of the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFiR).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Jo Day, Research Fellow, University of Exeter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jo is a Research Fellow at NIHR Peninsula Applied Research Collaboration (PenARC) and provides day-to-day management of the Implementation Evaluation data collection. Jo will also provide expertise on the use of the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFiR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Greene, Research Assistant, University of Exeter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah is working as a Graduate Research Assistant on the SFGC study as part of the implementation science team. Her role is focussed on data collection to support the implementation evaluation of the SFGC into the Local Authority teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof Donald Forrester, Professor of Social Work Research, Cardiff University<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donald is the Director of the Centre for Children’s Social Care Research and Development (CASCADE) and SFGC study advisor. In this capacity, he provides expertise in children\u2019s social, emotional and behavioural development in challenging family contexts. In addition, Donald brings methodological expertise in complex children\u2019s social care research evaluation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof Katrina Wyatt, Professor of Relational Health, University of Exeter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katrina is a Professor of Relational Health and Public Health lead for PenARC. She is a co-applicant on the SFGC project and provides expertise in children and young people\u2019s health and engaged research approaches with particular respect to seldom heard populations as well as, methodological support for the in-depth case studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr David Wilkins, Senior Lecturer, Cardiff University<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

David is a member of the Expert Stakeholder Group, and works to provide professional insights for his colleagues on the project team, based on his experience as a social worker, manager and Principal Child and Family Social Worker in statutory services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
