The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother, played by Youn Yih-jung who scooped an Oscar and a BAFTA. for her performance. While the father takes on his own personal challenge to grow and sell his on Korean produce on their land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film will be introduced by Megan Larmer, Exeter University PhD student and Senior Director of Regional Food Programmes for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.glynwood.org\/who-we-are\/our-team\/title\/megan-larmer\">Glynwood Centre for Regional Food and Farming<\/a>, in conversation with Christina Chan of East Asian vegetable producer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.choydivision.com\/\">Choy Division<\/a>,&nbsp;which is based in the Hudson Valley, USA when Megan conducts research.
