Ed Pawson is an educational adviser to schools in SW England, with a specific interest in Religious Education and Holocaust Education. He spent 23 years as a secondary RE teacher and subject leader. He is the Deputy Chair of the Religious Education Council for England and Wales (REC), the Programme Director for Learn, Teach, Lead RE (SW) and the former Chair of the National Association of Teachers of RE (NATRE). Ed is the SW regional lead for RE Hubs and has published work on areas such as Islam and spiritual development. He is the coordinator for annual civic and schools events commemorating the victims of genocide.
