Leah Lawford is starting a PhD in Holocaust Studies in September 2024, funded by the E. H. Boundy scholarship from the University of Exeter. Her project focuses particularly on British Holocaust education, using new archival and interview data to interrogate how school children are making sense of current educational initiatives – i.e. whether their perceptions align with anticipated learning outcomes and how they make links with both contemporary global events and issues in their own lived experiences.
