Improving the lives of young people with ADHD and multiple long-term conditions

    Dr Emma Cockroft

Emma is a researcher at the University of Exeter specialising in physical activity, health, and diabetes. Her work focuses on improving health outcomes through innovative interventions, particularly for young people. Emma is passionate about co-developing research with patients to address real-world health challenges. As part of the IAM-ADHD team, she is interested in exploring how physical health and activity intersect with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions in young people. Emma is keen to understand the relationship between ADHD and multiple long-term conditions, particularly type 1 diabetes, aiming to develop better support for young people managing both ADHD and other long-term conditions.
