A maioria dos sistemas baseados em&nbsp;<em>Inga<\/em>&nbsp;foi desenvolvida em torno de uma \u00fanica esp\u00e9cie,&nbsp;<em>Inga edulis<\/em>. No entanto, existem outras 300 esp\u00e9cies de Inga que podem oferecer benef\u00edcios iguais, se n\u00e3o maiores, e que poderiam expandir o escopo geogr\u00e1fico e ambiental onde esses sistemas podem ser aplicados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nosso projeto visa aplicar abordagens gen\u00e9ticas de \u00faltima gera\u00e7\u00e3o para identificar os parentes mais pr\u00f3ximos de&nbsp;<em>Inga edulis<\/em>&nbsp;e outras esp\u00e9cies j\u00e1 utilizadas em SAF. Essas esp\u00e9cies relacionadas s\u00e3o as que mais t\u00eam caracter\u00edsticas adequadas para SAF. Em consulta com parceiros e agricultores, estabelecemos testes de crescimento de algumas dessas esp\u00e9cies para garantir a absor\u00e7\u00e3o e o uso subsequentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principais resultados do projeto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"background:linear-gradient(135deg,rgb(238,238,238) 72%,rgb(169,184,195) 100%)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coleta de campo orientada<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Coletaremos tecidos e sementes de esp\u00e9cies para apoiar a pesquisa gen\u00e9tica em andamento e estabelecer ensaios de campo em Mato Grosso.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An\u00e1lise gen\u00f4mica<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Realizaremos uma an\u00e1lise minuciosa do g\u00eanero para identificar esp\u00e9cies adequadas para uso em sistemas agroflorestais e silvipastoris.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rede de contatos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Construiremos uma rede de cientistas e profissionais no Brasil e na Am\u00e9rica Latina, facilitando o desenvolvimento de pesquisas e comunicando as descobertas a outras pessoas neste campo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s da maior resili\u00eancia dos sistemas agroflorestais e silvipastoris em tempos de mudan\u00e7a clim\u00e1tica e crescimento populacional, as comunidades podem se beneficiar pela redu\u00e7\u00e3o da pobreza, melhoria da seguran\u00e7a alimentar e press\u00e3o reduzida sobre a vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o natural e a biodiversidade atrav\u00e9s da convers\u00e3o para a agricultura.
