    Becky Coniam-Gudka

    Graduate Research Assistant, University of Exeter Medical School

    Becky’s work focuses on the management of ADHD in primary care and education settings. This work includes research to identify barriers for young people accessing healthcare, and engagement work to produce resources for young people with ADHD and their supporters.

    Dr Abby Russell

    Senior Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and NIHR Advanced Fellow, University of Exeter Medical School

    Abby’s research focuses on the causes and consequences of child and adolescent mental health difficulties, and the role that schools play in preventing, identifying and managing mental health difficulties. 

    Dr Silvana Mareva

    Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, University of Exeter

    Silvana’s work focuses on studying neurodevelopmental differences transdiagnostically, aiming to understand the cognitive and social factors related to why neurodivergent children may struggle at school

    Dr Darren Moore

    Senior Lecturer, University of Exeter

    Darren is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator specialising in children and young people’s mental health, implementation in education and attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder. Darren’s research work is broadly focused on wellbeing in education, additional learning needs and implementation in schools.

    Marie Hutchinson-Ralph

    Founding Director, The Autistic Community of Cornwall

    Marie is an autistic professional. She is one of the founding directors of the ACC, and also the Director of two other not for profits; Cornwall Tourette’s Group and Youth Art Connect CIC. Marie provides bespoke training and advocacy, Education support and consultancy and various podcasts and media for the ACC under her pseudonym and company, Creative Neurodivergent. Lover of invertebrates, birds and animals, Marie is passionate about art and mental wellbeing and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. 

    Her varied experience and passion across Education, Health and social care led to the award of A British Citizen’s Award in Education at the Palace of Westminster in 2023. 

    Barry Sullivan

    Educational Psychologist, Plymouth Council

    Barry is an Educational Psychologist, working with numerous staff from a large number of different types of educational settings and families. He has worked closely with the Child Development Centre in developing and delivering training on ADHD to primary schools. Barry’s professional purpose is to help improve outcomes for children and young people.

    Dr Steve Murray

    Trust Leader in Education, Trust in Learning Academies (TiLA) and Lead Practitioner for Data and Research, Orchard School Bristol

    Steve has a MSc and PhD in Climate Science and has taught geography in a number of secondary schools in North Bristol. He also has experience in middle and senior leadership, with both pastoral and pedagogical responsibility. Steve now also supports TiLA in linking educational research to classroom practice, in order to enhance teacher CPD and improve students’ academic progress. Steve also leads the Bristol Network of the Chartered College of Teaching, which aims to share contemporary best practice through hosting talks by educationalists from across the sector.
