The Digital Hub is where students and colleagues can get support with using all the digital tools, we have available to us at The University of Exeter. This support is provided for colleagues and students, from students through our amazing team of Digital Hub student ambassadors.
What was your biggest achievement on your internship?
During my time helping on St. Lukes campus, I was able to identify an issue within the St. Lukes Info hub regarding locked iPads. These iPads were then not being used and resulting in good devices being left in a box. Money had been invested and these were not being used. I was able to figure out how to bypass the code lock which helped the department resolve its issue.
Were there any challenges during your internship and if so, how did you overcome these?
The main challenges were personal ones. I pursued self-reflection in this time and adjusted my habits as needed.
What were your reasons for undertaking this internship?

Yes, I would recommend this internship scheme to other student because the skill gains and experience are beneficial and if you care about the university its an ideal opportunity to learn more about how the University functions from a staff perspective. The wages are extremely competitive for cost of living, and it helps to build professional experience going into the workforce.
