What was your biggest achievement on your internship?
I supported social media campaigns for events by creating content, something I had never done before, which helped build my confidence using Canva and Instagram. I was especially proud to produce Instagram Reels featuring student interviews, a format the Business School had not used previously.
Were there any challenges and how did you overcome these?
At times, I felt I could have been more involved in marketing related tasks as I am studying a Marketing MSc. To address this, I spoke with my manager and asked to take on more responsibilities in this area of the events. Additionally, some parts of the preparation and delivery of events were highly stressful at times. I overcame these pressures by remaining calm and focused on what I needed to do in my role.
