What was your biggest achievement on your internship?
I was able to take lead on a project, that was based of an idea I came up with. I was also able to share my past skills and experiences to add value to the team.
Were there any challenges and how did you overcome these?
There was not many challenges, except for the fact I had very little knowledge in the research area. However the training helped give me a good basis. Then being curious helped as well, as I was able to self learn.
As a result of my internship…
- I have improved my communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
- My job prospects have improved by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.
- I have learned more about the skills I need and the options available to me in future.
- My overall confidence has increased.
