Based within the Finance, Infrastructure and Commercial Services Division, the Sustainability Team is a major contributor to delivering on the University’s Strategy 2030 commitment to ‘lead meaningful action against the climate emergency and ecological crisis.’ The team has responsibility for delivering on the University’s net zero and environmental net gain targets and this role will be support the delivery of sustainability education commitments.
What was your biggest achievement on your internship?
I am really happy with the work that I achieved as a member of this team. The internship experience has been hugely successful. However my biggest achievement has been an increased in my confidence. Even during the application process and securing the role improved my self belief.
Were there any challenges and how did you overcome these?
Managing my time during exam week was challenging. I overcame this by discussing my issue with my line manager and shifting my hours to a future week.
