Job Summary:
Helping to run the Disabled Students Peer Mentoring Scheme, sending out communications to both Mentors and Mentees on my scheme, working with other coordinators on the other WP schemes, working with full-time staff to create events, opportunities etc, attending and running events.
What was your biggest achievement on your internship?
Having the confidence to attend an overnight event in a city that I had never been to before and participating in the entire event despite being the only intern there.
Were there any challenges and how did you overcome these?
Communication from other staff members was at times a challenge but I organised regular face to face meetings after realising that online ones were not working for me.

Pursuing an internship was one of the best things Iāve done at university, it has given me amazing experience for my cv and even signposted me to a potential new career! The support from staff has been invaluable.
