It is one of the top 150 universities in the world and ranked among the top 15 universities in the United Kingdom. The university offers exciting courses in beautiful and historic surroundings. It is a member of the UK\u2019s prestigious Russell Group of leading research universities&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What was your biggest achievement during your internship?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building positive relationships with staff across the campus and consolidating a good reputation for the things I have achieved and the work I have completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Were there any challenges during your internship and if so, how did you overcome these?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining a new department where understanding of roles was not clear was certainly challenging. I had to be patient, resilient and enthusiastic, realising my role in the department and helping students\/staff with the transition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What were your reasons for undertaking this internship?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To improve my job prospects by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To gain experience and knowledge within a specific occupation or field.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To earn money.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;As a result of my internship\u2026&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have improved my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My job prospects have improved by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have learned more about the skills I need and the options available to me in the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have developed specific skills that could help me in the future.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My overall confidence has increased.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the internship&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received learning and development opportunities which could be helpful for my career (e.g., online courses, research development or mentoring).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I was able to complete the tasks assigned to me.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received sufficient training to undertake the role.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Overall, this internship has been a positive experience.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Would you recommend this internship scheme to other students?<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, I would recommend this internship scheme to other students. It softens the blow of entering working life as a graduate, offering decent benefits in a varied role that encourages a positive culture and dynamic working environment. It gives you the opportunity to develop several skills which increase your efficiency and make you more flexible in the workplace.
