NetShift&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Description of Organisation:<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A UK wide network of sustainability professionals, contractors and vendors for peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, contracting and support, with a bias toward the southwest of the UK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What was your biggest achievement during your internship?<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communication between the team was very disjointed with all the team having multiple jobs and very little time to touch base, resulting in us doing work which didn\u2019t need to be done\/ they had already completed. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Were there any challenges during your internship and if so, how did you overcome these?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not fully understanding elements of a laboratory process which was overcome by speaking to experienced technicians and becoming practised in lab procedures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What were your reasons for undertaking this internship?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To improve my job prospects by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To gain experience and knowledge within a specific occupation or field.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To earn money.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;As a result of my internship\u2026&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have improved my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My job prospects have improved by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have learned more about the skills I need and the options available to me in the future.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have developed specific skills that could help me in the future.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My overall confidence has increased.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the internship&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received learning and development opportunities which could be helpful for my career (e.g., online courses, research development or mentoring).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I was able to complete the tasks assigned to me.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received sufficient training to undertake the role.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Overall, this internship has been a positive experience.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Would you recommend this internship scheme to other students?<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, I would recommend this internship scheme to other students as it was a great experience. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Name of Student: Daisy Dudderidge &nbsp;
