We provide energy procurement, management and sustainability solutions designed to support industrial and commercial businesses. Amber grew from the belief that the energy industry was ready for change and that businesses being overcharged and underserved by their consultants deserved better. Our innovative approach to energy management has been saving money, boosting efficiencies and reducing carbon footprints since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What was your biggest achievement on your internship?<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Researching into a new area I haven&#8217;t covered before and finishing the work to a good standard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Were there any challenges and how did you overcome these?&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;I struggled finding information for a task I needed to complete, I asked for help with where to look for the information and conducted more research to find it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What were your reasons for undertaking this internship?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To gain experience and knowledge within a specific occupation or field.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To improve my job prospects by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To earn money&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As a result of my internship\u2026&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My job prospects have improved by expanding my CV and what I can draw upon in interviews.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have learned more about the skills I need and the options available to me in the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I have developed specific skills that could help me in the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>My overall confidence has increased.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the internship&#8230;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received learning and development opportunities which could be helpful for my career.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I was able to complete the tasks assigned to me.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received regular feedback from my manager.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I received sufficient training to undertake the role.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Overall, this internship has been a positive experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Would you recommend this internship scheme to other students?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, it is good experience for your CV and provides industry experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Name of Student:&nbsp; Tom Roberts&nbsp; Job Title:&nbsp; Analyst&nbsp; Company Name:&nbsp;Amber&nbsp;&nbsp; Description of Organisation:\u00a0\u00a0Amber is an award-winning energy consultancy and certified B Corp\u2122.
