Dr Thiago Morello has a PhD in Development Economics and is a researcher of Environmental and Development Economics. He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of ABC, São Paulo, Brazil and was visiting researcher in the Environment Centre of Lancaster University, UK (2014), and in the Land, Environment, Economics and Policy (LEEP) Institute, University of Exeter, UK (2017 to 2018). He currently holds a Brazilian research productivity grant (2021-2025).
Thiago is based at the LEEP Institute, University of Exeter for the duration of this project.
