The posters were developed by the Project Team (Diana Tingley & Rob Ellis) in collaboration with Science Communicator Martha Clark (see Martha’s porfolio here) who developed the layout, design and artwork. Thanks also go to the University of Bristol’s MSc Science Communication for a Better Planet, and artist Jonny Glover, whose images are also featured in the posters.

These posters (The Science, The Bigger Picture and Innovation & Impact), were presented at the Annual Meeting of the Transforming UK Food Systems Programme in York on 6-7th January 2025.
We were invited to present them directly to Daniel Zeichner MP, then Minister of State for Food Security & Rural Affairs, at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), and Professor Susan Jebb, Chair of the Food Standards Agency. The team were awarded a special commendation for the clarity of message about the project’s science, societal relevance, impact and technological innovation. Click here for the full story….
