Alessandro joined the Land, Environment, Economics & Policy (LEEP) Institute in March 2023 to work on the Net Zero Plus and Land-Climate Programme. He previously worked as a Junior Researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate change (BC3) in Spain on low carbon mobility transition [2017-2022] and as a research assistant at the International Centre for Climate Governance (ICCG) in Venice [2014-2016].
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of the Basque country [2022], a MSc in Spatial transport and environmental economics from the VU Amsterdam University [2016] and a BSc. In Business economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice [2014].
He works as part of the UK Sustainable King Prawn Project modelling team for WP1.
