Investing in Talent <\/a>is a specialist careers event for disabled students. It provides a unique opportunity for you to get in front of disability confident firms and ask all the questions about you might not wish to ask at other events. The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday 19th October, with the event taking place in London on the 26th October. It is free to attend and travel expenses will be reimbursed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

‘Explore the Law<\/a>‘<\/strong> on 16th November is a unique event for ambitious students with disabilities and long-term health conditions. It’s a chance to find out more about careers, support and how to access it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the day you will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understand the importance of disability to the participating firms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Hear from trainees who successfully managed their disability through the recruitment process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Hear from panellists what it is like to work with a top employer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Learn how to positively disclose your disability and request support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Participate in confidence building and motivation sessions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Expand your network with disability confident employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is open to all undergraduate students who have a disability* or long-term health conditions and want to explore career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judicial Review Moot Competition 2022-2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Would you like to put yourself forward to represent the University at this event? It\u2019s for all students undertaking law degrees (LLB, LLM, GDL and BPTC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition consists of public law moot problems, with a focus on public law as it is applied in the planning and environmental law context.  Crucially, no prior knowledge of planning or environmental law is required.  It\u2019s an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the application of public law in a specific context and learn more about one of Landmark’s key practice areas prior to pupillage applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
