Panel discussion from 6.00 &#8211; 7.00pm followed by informal networking drinks until 8.00pm.<br><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong>\u00a0The event is open to all those who are interested in a career in the Bar and who are currently studying in university or who have completed their university studies.<br><strong>Booking<\/strong>:\u00a0Places must be reserved in advance(Details below). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be a hybrid event with the opportunity for participants to attend in Chambers or remotely. It will take the form of a panel discussion with members of Chambers with different specialisms within Chambers\u2019 practice areas and at different stages of their career as panellists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics covered will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>An insight into the planning and environmental Bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Path to the Bar as non-law student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is FTB Chambers looking for in candidates?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tips for the application process and interviews<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life as a pupil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pupillage to tenancy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practice as a junior tenant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees are welcome to join in person in Chambers or remotely via zoom. RSVP via email to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:events@ftbchambers.co.uk?subject=Pupillage%20Open%20Evening%20-%2029%20November%202023\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>events@ftbchambers.co.uk<\/strong><\/a><strong><u>indicating your institution and course (if relevant) and whether you will be attending in person or remotely<\/u><\/strong>. Information regarding practical arrangements will be sent to all registered attendees closer to the date.<br>There are a limited number of places for in-person attendance. \u00a0Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. If the number of people who wish to attend in-person exceeds the number of places, then we will operate a waiting list.
