{"id":4375,"date":"2025-01-13T11:18:28","date_gmt":"2025-01-13T11:18:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/lawbulletin\/?p=4375"},"modified":"2025-01-13T11:45:04","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T11:45:04","slug":"national-law-school-triathlon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/lawbulletin\/2025\/01\/13\/national-law-school-triathlon\/","title":{"rendered":"National Law School Triathlon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KLS Thomson Reuters National Law Student Triathlon &#8211; deadline for expressions of interest 27 January 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Law School will be sending a team of two students to the KLS Thomson Reuters National Law Student Triathlon this academic year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/national-law-student-triathlon-back-for-fourth-year\/\">The Law Triathlon 2025<\/a> will take place over two days (<strong>26 and 27 April 2025<\/strong>) and students will have the opportunity to compete in a negotiation, first instance advocacy and a full moot.\u00a0 There will also be opportunities to meet a number of practitioners and be exposed to a range of practical legal skills. The event includes:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Entry to the competition, workshops etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overnight accommodation&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A packed lunch on the Saturday&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tea\/coffee and light refreshments throughout the day&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 2 course-dinner&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bar drinks at the Show trial in the evening&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breakfast on the Sunday morning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the competition rules, the Law School can only enter students who have not participated in an external competition before and come from a non-traditional background for the legal profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in participating this competition, please email the Mooting Inbox (<a href=\"mailto:mooting@exeter.ac.uk\">mooting@exeter.ac.uk<\/a>&nbsp;) with your expression of interest.&nbsp; In accordance with the Competitions Policy, please include in your email details and evidence that you fulfil the organisers&#8217; entry requirement .&nbsp;<strong><u>Please note that expressions of interest must be submitted by close of business on 27 January 2025.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Expressions of interest must be submitted by close of business on 27 January 2025<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":263,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[117,51,61],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.0 -
