The Law School in association with the Devon & Somerset Law Societ<\/strong><\/a>y<\/a><\/strong> Education & Training Sub Committee are holding two Roundtable events. We would like to invite you and your colleagues to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 AI, Legal Education and the Future of the Profession<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 6 February: 4.30 \u2013 6pm<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Exeter Innovation Hub, Princesshay, Dix’s Field, EX1 1GF<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The landscape of legal technology and the development of AI is constantly evolving and impacting on the work of lawyers and clients.  We are keen to reflect on and discuss how best to engage the local legal profession in discussions around strategies for upskilling and developing the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop offers an important opportunity to engage with a range of stakeholders.  It will enable a discussion about how technology affects and impacts strategic development within firms as well as the region as a whole.  The event offers an opportunity to connect and share approaches to innovative development and possibilities for the future.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Law School at the University of Exeter in association with the Devon and Somerset Law Society Education & Training Sub Committee would like to invite you to attend a regional roundtable.\u00a0 The introduction of the SQE, the growing use of AI and the increasing opportunity presented by commercial education are shaping a new future for legal education.\u00a0 This is also informed by increasing emphasis on ethics and new slants on skills as we use generative AI more efficiently.\u00a0 We are keen to reflect on and discuss how best to engage the local legal profession in discussions around strategies for upskilling and developing the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
