The University of Exeter is delighted to share that Exeter Law School will be the host partner university for the 2026 Association of Law Teachers Annual Conference. The news was announced at the Association of Law Teachers Annual Conference 2025<\/a> hosted by the University of Strathclyde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Conference will take place on our Streatham Campus in April 2026 under the theme ‘Reimagining Legal Education for the Future of Law’<\/strong>, and will explore cutting-edge pedagogies that are narrowing gaps between the theory and practice of law, technology, innovation and social justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Association of Law Teachers has been at the forefront of legal education in the UK since it was founded in 1965. Over the years, it has served as a platform for collaboration, innovation and the exchange of ideas among legal educators. The ALT Annual Conference is the main annual event of the Association, where the vibrant, welcoming and inclusive community of academics, professionals and practitioners that the ALT represents can come together to engage in discourse on all dimensions of legal education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ALT 2026 Annual Conference organising committee at Exeter Law School will be led by Dr Louise Loder<\/a>, Senior Lecturer in Law, Director of Skills and Prizes \/ ALT Executive Committee Member, and Dr David Yuratich<\/a>, Senior Lecturer in Law, Co-Director of Education and Student Experience \/ ALT Trustee and Executive Committee Member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Conference webpage will be updated regularly as we build the programme of speakers and confirm timings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
