{"id":5167,"date":"2025-05-30T14:58:03","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T14:58:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/lawbulletin\/?p=5167"},"modified":"2025-05-30T14:58:04","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T14:58:04","slug":"phd-student-presents-at-prestigious-young-scholars-seminar-in-katowice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/lawbulletin\/2025\/05\/30\/phd-student-presents-at-prestigious-young-scholars-seminar-in-katowice\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD student presents at prestigious Young Scholars Seminar in Katowice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>PhD student Thitinan Ngamsanguan was selected to present part of her research at the prestigious seminar for young scholars in EU Law during the XXXI FIDE Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>It was an honour to be selected as one of only nine young scholars to present at the prestigious Young FIDE Seminar during the XXXI FIDE Congress 2025 in Katowice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I spoke about &#8216;Algorithmic Manipulation and Behavioural Exploitation in the EU: A Critical Perspective on the DSA&#8217;, which is part of my ongoing research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opportunity to discuss my work with Prof. Eleanor Sharpston, Prof. Miguel Poiares Maduro, and Prof. Michal Bobek was invaluable, and I\u2019m grateful for their insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you to my supervisors, <a href=\"https:\/\/experts.exeter.ac.uk\/25252-joasia-luzak\">Joasia Luzak<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/experts.exeter.ac.uk\/40407-ellen-gordonbouvier\">Ellen Gordon-Bouvier<\/a> for all your support, I couldn\u2019t have done this without you!
