Alongside her will be multi-disciplinary artist <a href=\"https:\/\/artworkexeter.org.uk\/projects\/the-cultural-knowledge-exchange\/\">Anne Madray.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebritishacademy.ac.uk\/events\/summershowcase\/the-british-academy-summer-showcase-friday-late\/\">Summer Showcase <\/a>is a free festival of ideas on <strong>Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June.<\/strong> There will be interactive exhibits and workshops, inspiring performances and screenings, and thought-provoking talks. These are delivered by researchers sharing innovative social sciences and humanities research that is shaping the society we live in, and informing the one we want to create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Gola&#8217;s work has been supported by funding from the British Academy and Leverhulme Small Research Grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the colonial erosion of indigenous health knowledge, many communities have sustained their health traditions.
