You can come along&nbsp;for advice on using OSCOLA for legal citations and referencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No need to stay for an hour. Just drop in throughout the hour and ask your question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These sessions are run by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.exeter.ac.uk\/lee\">Lee Snook, your Law Librarian<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/libguides.exeter.ac.uk\/stewart\">Stewart Palmer, your Legal Research Skills Adviser<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where do the sessions take place?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;On Campus Sessions:&nbsp;<\/strong>Forum Library Foyer, located at the tables to your right as you enter the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What help is available?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We won\u2019t do your referencing for you as that is an academic skill you need to develop and it&nbsp;forms part of your assessed work, but you can come along with queries if you need some guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, do you need to know more about &#8230;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>where to access the full OSCOLA guidance\u00a0online so you can check your referencing for accuracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how to cite a case that is referred to in another case<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how to spot citations in Westlaw<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how to pinpoint to a specific paragraph in a case judgment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how to use Microsoft Word to add footnotes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how to use Cite them Right database to assist with your referencing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related&nbsp;LibGuide:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.exeter.ac.uk\/oscolahour\">OSCOLA Hour by Lee Snook (Exeter)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In person: Monday 1 December: 10:00 &#8211;
