You can discuss any matters to do with career thinking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>How to gain work experience <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applying for summer jobs or graduate jobs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Putting together a strong CV <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any career topic you would like to talk about<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We release&nbsp;specialist law careers podcasts&nbsp;such as our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/5QzCJnMIdk7k1ZYMIY6x3F?si=885bfc819d9b427c&amp;nd=1&amp;dlsi=904ee1800d654b28\">Law Mini-Series<\/a> on topics such as&nbsp;how to secure a training contract with no legal background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Careers&nbsp;Drop-ins for Law students&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mondays in term time 1.30-2.30pm<\/strong> in the Career Zone. <br>Students are welcome to pop in to chat with Tess and discuss anything to do with employability&nbsp;for any career in law or other employment sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timetabled employability seminars&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tess\u00a0runs<strong> <\/strong>sessions for legal careers for all first year law students. In addition, Tess runs interactive workshops with\u00a0<strong>Exeter Law firms<\/strong>\u00a0at which students can work on legal CVs, applications and interviews with law professionals. Tess runs\u00a0<strong>webinars\u00a0<\/strong>through the year on topics such as routes into law and assessment centres and collaborates with the Law Societies on sessions such as creating great legal CVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Career Zone runs a\u00a0<strong>law careers fair<\/strong>\u00a0which is held in the Great Hall every autumn showcasing over 50 national and local employers in law.
