Agust\u00edn Reyna is the Director General of BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation, which serves as the umbrella group for 44 independent consumer organisations across 31 European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><div class=\"iframe-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"embed-responsive-item\"  title=\"Annual Lasok Lecture 2026\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VQR69gl1S1c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Reyna delivered an insightful and thought-provoking analysis of the risks and opportunities facing EU consumer protection amid today\u2019s geopolitical, technological, and social challenges. Since 2018, he has served as a non-governmental advisor for the European Commission to the International Competition Network and represents BEUC in numerous European and international forums. Additionally, he is a member of ESMA\u2019s Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group.
