The one-day event was hosted by Dr David Barrett, a senior lecturer in the Law School, and was attended by academics from across the UK and Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working papers were presented by participants from a range of career stages on a broad range of economic and social rights topics that drew on a broad range of methodologies. As part of the event Dr Barrett presented the overall arguments of his forthcoming book, Regulating Socio-Economic Inequality: Utilising a Human Rights and Equality Law Framework, which will be published by Hart in early 2027.
