What is the role?
- As a graduate trainee Auditor, you will have the chance to work on complex audit engagements and play a part in continuous improvement initiatives – either within a specific industry sector or a variety of industries.
- You will adopt an investigative approach, learning to challenge and question in order to ensure high audit quality.
- You will gain valuable technical skills, a broad commercial understanding, and in-depth knowledge of one or more industry sectors, all of which will empower you to build an exciting and varied long-term career in audit.

- You have achieved at least a minimum Grade 6 GCSE (Equivalent to a Grade B) in Maths and English Language.
- You have achieved a minimum 2:1 at degree level in any discipline and have 120 UCAS points (equivalent to BBB at A-Level) under the 2017 tariff point system at A-Level. (Note: We only consider a candidate’s ‘top’ 3 A-level grades and do not accept General Studies).

The Law Commission – Research Assistant Positions
The Law Commission is the statutory independent body created to keep the law of England and Wales under review and to recommend reform where it is needed. Each year they recruit up to 18 research assistants to help with their work ensuring the law is simple, fair and modern.
Joining them as a research assistant is a fantastic opportunity to master complex areas of law and help shape legal reform in England and Wales, whilst working side by side with the Commissioners. Their research assistants develop a range of skills and gain professional experience that is hard to obtain anywhere else.
The role is fixed term for 51 weeks from September 2022, with the possibility of renewal for a further year upon application.
