General Practice: Accountancy and Audit
Within the General Practice team, the department work on preparing the financial statements and tax returns of clients of a range of sizes and industries, from small owner-managed businesses up to groups of multinational companies. New trainees will play a key role in preparing the financial statements of smaller clients and in assisting other members of the team in the preparation or checking of larger clients’ statements.
Some day to day responsibilities may include:
Outsourcing Graduate:
Outsourcing is a fast moving department with regular new clients and various requests for services, as such the role is flexible with clients ranging from sole traders to international corporations, dealing with both regular bookkeeping and project work such as audit preparation. The outsourcing client portfolio consists of a wide variety of industries ranging from; construction to IT Consulting to marine engineering, and therefore provides a versatile environment to gain experience and knowledge.
Some day to day responsibilities may include:
Tax Graduate:
Within the Tax department, the team works on preparing the financial statements and tax returns of clients of a range of sizes and industries, from small owner-managed businesses up to groups of multinational companies. New trainees might be involved in detailed analysis of purchase and sale transactions to calculate the capital gain on crypto currency, preparing calculations for an individual who is required to make a disclosure to HMRC for previously undisclosed tax liabilities and so much more.
