Because LORP speaks to global concerns, particularly flood prevention, The Lower Otter Restoration Project in Translation also explored the role of the intercultural dialogue between the UK and Brazil when transmitting knowledge and expertise acquired in climate adaptation projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/news.exeter.ac.uk\/faculty-of-humanities-arts-and-social-sciences\/languages-cultures-and-visual-studies\/exhibition-to-showcase-communitys-creative-response-to-lower-otter-restoration-project\/\">project\u2019s exhibition<\/a>&nbsp;in November 2024 garnered attention and has been published in local media outlets such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.devonlive.com\/news\/devon-news\/exeters-otter-project-inspires-art-9699546\">Devon Live<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.exmouthjournal.co.uk\/news\/24702441.exhibition-showcase-communitys-response-project\/\">Exmouth Journal<\/a>. The exhibition testified to the impact of climate adaptation projects on the local community and biodiversity in the region.
