It is undeniable that the South West has a rich and ever-flowing creative output, often inspired by the region’s distinct human and physical geography. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much like a body of water, this onrushing stream of arts, culture and literature forges connections across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite its established literary heritage, from Agatha Christie to Jean Rhys to Penguin Books, this nurturing creative space is often an untapped resource. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the intention of our cohort to uplift the voice of this region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conceptualised and created by MA Publishing 2023-24, Publishing and Literary Networks in the South West <\/em>presents a collection of essays, interviews and reviews to celebrate these connections. Finding a space to challenge convention is never easy, but our publication hopes to spark vital and continued conversation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
