When I logged on today I found that each line for transcription is lightly highlighted (in your chosen colour), instead of being effectively struck through. This small adjustment makes a big difference. Transcription is much quicker and easier, as I no longer have to switch the baselines off to read the text. So thanks for responding to feedback and fixing this.
Thank you for your response Judy, I'm so pleased to hear that this adjustment has worked!
Agreed. It is so much better.
There is another feature that I discovered by accident that might help: if you double click on the line under the current line of text, a set of dots will appear in it. You can then drag those dots to move the line out of the way of what you want to read. I always move them back afterwards but I don't know whether that matters or not ...
Thanks Tony - I think in theory this 'shifts' the anchored lines themselves but it doesn't appear to have actually affected how the lines in the will 'correspond' with the lines in the transcription. So if it seems to be working for you, and you're able to put the lines back in place, then that should be ok.
