Our guest speaker,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rmisra\/\">Rashmi Misra<\/a>, will start us off by discussing the current limitations and possibilities of AI\/ML in research. This will be followed by a Q&amp;A and a facilitated discussion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re&nbsp;<strong>inviting<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>short contributions<\/strong>&nbsp;from you. Bring a lightning talk, informal remarks, or just some discussion points \u2014 all are welcome. For example,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>How are you using AI tools in your research?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What about research-adjacent activities (emails, papers, scheduling, meetings, reviewing)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How should we adapt our methods and skill acquisition for an AI-rich future?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do we need to position our skills and expertise to remain hireable in an increasingly competitive and dynamic research landscape?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be a hybrid event, with the speaker joining online from the US.
