His research is centred on the characterisation of the PYCSAR defence system within <em>Pseudomonas aeruginosa. <\/em>&nbsp;Specifically, the project is focused on elucidating how regulatory proteins such as E2 and E1E2 can modulate the production of cyclic second messenger signals to control an abortive infection response to phage infection.
